11TroniX Spotlight - MILAN
Another popular artist on 11TroniX, Milan (James Tapping) showed up on my radar in the Spring of 2016, via an electronic music based social network group.
My aim initially was to prompt a bit of increased interaction and interest in the groups (holding the 'independent music only' XRP Radio flag), by inviting artists to share their tunes in the thread I'd started. As a result, several new people registered as artists with XRP Radio, and their tunes shortly followed - allowing me to get them into the playlist for the shows that followed. Milan was one of these artists, and he has been a regular contributor to the show and the station as a whole ever since.
So far, the tracks 'Miracle (Take my heart)', 'Hello Beautiful' (GX Remix) and the upcoming release of 'Let Us Go' have made the biggest splashes on 11TroniX - but nearly all of the other submissions have also made their way into the show playlists.
“Miracle(Take my heart)” and “The Hardest Thing I’ve Ever done” along with “Let us go” and “Hello Beautiful” and “Don’t say goodbye “ were recently chosen by the BBC introducing team in the UK for airplay on a local BBC radio station (BBC Radio Norfolk)
'Let Us Go' is due for release on 12th August 2016, and to coincide with this, Milan is giving away a free copy of the new album 'Empathic' to a randomly selected winner who can answer the following QUESTION:
IN WHICH FRENCH TOWN DOES THE ARTIST MILAN LIVE?
Send answers to milanmusicuk@gmail.com before 12th August to enter.
'Let Us Go' will also feature in this week's (2nd August) edition of 11TroniX, live on XRP Radio.

After 'Live from the Bog' and before 'The Aperture'. 3 LIVE shows in a row, on Tuesday nights. 11TroniX at 11pm UK time will feature the most recent uploads to XRP Radio , finishing off with the less recent.
Tonight's edition will be featuring:
Keep an eye on the show, as occasional shows now have themes, such as:
- Charts related
- 'Greatest hits' - tracks that have the most plays so far
- Chillout mixes and faster mixes
- Newest music
- More themes may well follow!

11TroniX - Chillout edition
For all those who might think we just do faster electronic music only -
Tuesday 11pm UK time 11TroniX will have a #chillout #ambient style show including 2 brand new uploads from AlterLyte project, as well as J Tizzle, Cosimo and ChAsJaM.
Other music will come in the form of Suchitra Lata, Wainscott, Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate, 8 Bit Weapon, Acazuz, Beyond The Clones and Brothercom.
We'll be up straight after Clint with 'Live from the Bog' and right before we hand over to Mario's 'TheAperture'.

Greatest hits edition of 11TroniX
This week I've decided to buck the recent trend, and go with some of the cream of the crop so far, since 11TroniX began in October 2015. This is based mainly on the total number of plays on the show for track and artist alike, since this period.
This week's tracks start from an earlier period of 2011 and become more recent as the playlist progresses.
As a new twist, I am looking to engage listeners and artists alike, by including links to the official XRP Radio track listings for each. This makes it easier for any registered user to VOTE for, and BUY any of the tracks.
If the track or artist is not featured in the store, there will not be a vote link available, however.
When artists and listeners combine forces, special things happen like collaborations and remixes. New fans emerge and link sharing happens. This is the life blood of independent music, so come and register, listen, interact, share and add to the collective XRP snowball effect. ;)

New music from Suchitra Lata and a remix from Wainscott
This week the prolific Suchitra Lata has uploaded no less than 2 albums and 1 EP to XRP Radio.
3 of these tracks have been filtered into this week's playlist, along with a remix from Wainscott, which is not freshly made, however it is brand new to XRP and 11Tronix - one warning, it's quite a sad tune! :( (But beautiful too)
